| The Intellectual Property Rights Provisions ("IPR Provisions") were developed over a two-year period with a number of meetings involving all of the original Regions participating in IMS. The representatives from these regions included representatives of large, small and medium enterprises, researchers, academics, lawyers and government representatives. |
Although the new "fast track" approval process for MTP research proposals does not require the formal IPR regimen listed below, we still have requests for this model legal document that was developed by our IPR team of lawyers and experts in the research field. Researchers have indicated that on occasion they need a highly formal agrrement and that this template is a good starting point.
You may use and modify this "Draft Consortium Cooperation Agreement" template as you see fit. This template should be reviewed by your legal counsel. IMS does not accept any liability arising from its use.
