Sustainable Management of Mixed Diachronic Reality for Manufacturing

Acronyme:

Definition:
Sustainable Management of Mixed Diachronic Reality for Manufacturing
Description:
It is necessary to integrate lifecycle considerations of manufacturing facilities so that the life of manufacturing facilities should be included as an essential element within the Product Life Cycle Loop

MTP Theme:

Sustainable Manufacturing/Safety

The objective of the proposed MTP initiative is to create an international IMS community
that will discuss and initiate new actions on the following selected subjects, which are
deemed as the key ones to accomplish the targets described at the above paragraph:

(1) To establish a seamless integration of the planning / design phase and implementation
phase within a dynamic factory reformation by the technology of mixed diachronic
reality, an extended simulation technology which deals simultaneously both virtual and
real worlds on the same platform in order to achieve a dynamic adaptation with the
changing manufacturing environment and to minimize material and energy consumption
as well as space and time for change.

(2) To optimize continuously the manufacturing management and control methods on
real time in face of day-to-day, month-to-month change in the factory yielded by TQC
activity, unexpected reconfiguration.

(3) To submerge the inevitably abandoned facilities and equipments adequately into the
Life Cycle Loop
